I
love this as a Read Aloud choice today! When our own traditions seem
unlike so many others, it can be challenging to understand how special
those differences are. And some traditions might have some things in
common too. What are some of your Fourth of July food traditions? Our
family favorites include boiled Maine lobster, corn on the cob (buttered
and salted), sliced watermelon with seeds, and blueberry pie ala mode!
This year is rainy and cold and not the best for grilling. Maybe we will
have Chinese food and add to our tradition!
